In case you're wondering, only one of the children died before another child with the same was born. That was Henry. So this is not a case of reusing given names. Now for Mary's timeline:

  17    Mary gives birth twice, in Virginia and in Germany. The year is 1707.
  18    Mary gives birth.
  25    Mary gives birth.
  26    MARY GETS MARRIED.
  27    Mary gives birth for the first time as a married woman and does not give the child her husband's surname.
  28    Mary gives birth twice.
  30    Mary's father is born.
  30    Mary gives birth.
  36    Mary gives birth twice.
  38    Mary gives birth.
  40    Mary gives birth twice.

  56    Mary gives birth three times.

I guess for some people there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to the progression of time. Parents don't need to be born before their children and mothers don't need to be alive to give birth. Mark, Mary's father, is 126 years older than his wife and 30 years younger than his daughter. Mary has children born in three different centuries. Nope, nothing amiss there. Sigh.
