Does looking at a record, reading it and processing the information not occur to people? Either their reading comprehension stinks or they don't care that they are attaching records that have nothing to do with their ancestor.
According to the profile for this person, the researcher, and I use that term loosely, is looking for the Charles in the second row. Yet they didn't bother finding the correct records. There were no misspellings in the original records. There weren't horrible mistakes in the transcriptions. The correct records were found in a matter of minutes.
Unrelated but this is a pet peeve of mine. Here's a short version of Charles' profile:
charles fletcher hunt
B. thickfield, hampshire, england
D. Portsmouth, Hampshire, England
Father:    william charles hunt
Mother:   Eliza Tees
Spouse:   Annie harding
Children:  Charles Arthur Hunt
               mary hunt
               Alfred George Hunt
Is it too OCD to expect people to capitalize names and places? If someone has a physical issue that makes capitalizing difficult or painful, why capitalize some things and not others? "Do or do not. There is no try."

Hat tip to Steph for the heads up about this profile ;-)
