The quick lesson from this should be: Not everyone with the same name is the same person. Antonia Vela born in 1903 is not the same as Antonia Vela born in 1737!!!
Ancestry.com should have a short test before people are allowed to start a tree.
Here are a few questions to begin:

 1. A woman is born in 1719. If the following years represent the births of her children which one is NOT possible?
    A. 1735
    B. 1759
    C. 1903

 2. If a woman's second husband was born in 1892 is it possible her first husband was born in 1720 (172 years earlier)?
    A. Yes.
    B. Maybe, I need to see the documentation.
    C. No, that's insanity!

 3. In what era would a mother have been able to marry her own son?
    A. early 1700s
    B. mid 1800s
    C. Are you mental?

If the potential subscriber answered anything but C to a question they should be taken to a page saying:

Congratulations!

You have just saved yourself a lot of time and money.
We do hope that it's not genetic so
someone else in your family
can discover your family history.
